Can't believe its not patchwork

I have at some point in my life tried and discarded almost every type of craft until I discovered patchwork in the early 90's and have remained faithful to it ever since. However, I admit to having a mild flirtation again with crochet. The afghan square is adorable and I love the colours of the Rowan cottons. After this little effort I am going to buy hot pinks, turquoises and orange, well out of my comfort zone.

  1. Love the colours Judy...I think you were the reason for me ever trying crochet one day an age ago in Amitie...do you remember? I mastered it in the end...

  4. I've been thinking of trying crochet too! I have visited a beautiful local yarn shop and they have a crochet class. I love your granny squares and look forward to seeing them in the other colours you are considering.

  5. Just love this color scheme, especially the "icy" pale blue and isn't it so soothing to crochet ...

  7. Unless you are exceedingly good at hiding pesky ends from the camera lens you have woven all of them neatly in. When I grow up, I want to be like you!

PS. Have taken definitive note of the bunging in the cupboard advice.
