playing with paper

A first for me, having a go at English paper piecing and starting to enjoy it.  I am not being completely traditional and am glueing the fabric on to the paper which is quick and I like that, however nothing quick about sewing the little darlings together.

  1. Looking good Judy. The effort will be worth it.

  2. Now did you mean 'little darling's' in a particular way? Cause that is the tone it inferred!! It looks really pretty.

  3. I visited Melbourne recently and saw your quilt, Menagerie, and fell in love with it. I ordered the pattern and it arrived today so thank you to the ladies at Bella Monde in Moorabbin. I have now accessed your blog and thought I would like to ask about the hexagons you are doing and ask what glue are you using?

    Thanks

    1. Hi Glenice,
Happy you like Menagerie. I am quite obsessed with hexies at the moment, I use sewline glue which is easily lifted off when you remove the papers. Regards, Judy
