I wanted to make a quilt for a dear friend and chose this lovely pattern by Louise, "Parterre" from
Lululollylegs. It is simple to make and lends itself to large printed interesting fabrics. I have machine quilted it myself, not my favourite occupation as I love hand quilting best. I bought all the fabrics at
Amitie, of course. There has just been a further delivery of those beautiful script linens I have used in this quilt.
Lucky friend!!
ReplyDeleteWow Judy - such a gorgeous combo of fabrics! You never cease to amaze me!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Judy, I have been following your postings for a while, but don't think I have commented. I love the colours you use in your work and especially love you New York Beauty block (a favourite pattern of mine). Also wanted to say thanks for the CasaCara site on your sidebar, I have in my luchbreak gone back thru some of her archives and some of those houses & gardens make my heart flutter. from Jenny M (Lilydale)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabrics and love the border too. Great design to show off some special fabrics.

ReplyDeleteJudy, this is a fabulous quilt! Love it! You're a clever girl.
ReplyDeleteLove your quilt. Have used the script linen in my sewing nook, as a curtain, currently undergoing make-over. I love the way you've used it in your quilt. Amitie - 'the best'.
